Video title: New Reekie 2 - Titan arum mosaic


The following text appears on screen:

“This is a Titan arum public participation art mosaic based on a life-size painting from previous New Reekie flowering event in Edinburgh back in 2015.

130 pieces were drawn, coloured and composed by visitors of all ages and from across the world.”

 

The square paper pieces with drawings on from the public then build up to make up the mosaic of the Titan arum on a wall. When completed the Titan arum mosaic gets compared to a fly drawn on one piece of square paper to show the size of the mosaic – the fly looks very small in comparison.
